This is a specific case of engine-generator. A diesel compression-ignition engine is usually designed to run on diesel fuel, but some types are adapted for other liquid fuels or natural gas. By proper Setting of Synchronizing relay and set up of all related data like voltage, ampere, frequency, power factor etc. It can synch DG set load sharing with main power to reduce power consumption from the utility supply.
